Elaine, Mountain Lion is, in fact, 10.8. I haven't lost any files, just had to dapt to a fw new ways of doing things, that's all. Oh, and also come to terms with the fact that in order to use it on my Mac Pro, I actually have to buy a new Mac Pro, or at least a newer second-hand one.
