My business has two macbook pros and two employees who live in different households. On one mac is a database from Filemaker Pro 12. The other employee needs to access this mac which is mine. I have a dynamic IP address so it changes and makes her ability to log onto my computer through Instant Web Publishing very difficult. I want to remove the Filemaker from my macbook and put it on hers. Is there a way to do that? Or should I buy another copy of filemaker and then we just update each one via flashdrives? Or am I missing something (Special apple method - I'm new to macs) so that she can access the database on my macbook. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi there group,
I have recently shifted from windows to Mac, and i have a MacBook Air 11", it is a good experience, and i am liking it.
1) My first question is i use the Yahoo as my primary mail, but i get a lot of spam also, and i donot find the select all box in the mail box folder?
2) The second question is i dowloaded recently the movie Transformers on the Mac and i wanna save it on my portable hard disc, i am not able to transfer the primary file, how can i do it?

i was able to do it this time! thanks guys. last time the dock wouldnt accept it, i think because i was drag-dropping it to the left of the dotted line with the apps like glenn said. but the dock accepted it to the right of the line beside the trash can. thanks agian!

You can drag any file or folder from a Finder window to the Dock, but they can only go after the apps at the end, in their own special section. Could that be why it hasn't worked for you so far?

Documents in the Dock is merely an alias of Documents in your User folder. Go to your User folder, click on Documents and drag it to where you want it placed in your Dock.

What are you trying to import?

If you are importing photos, and only JPEG seems to work, you could always open the photos in Preview and re-save them as JPEG.
