Re: [MacBook] ipad 3g data plan with at&t help

Welcome, Melissa! This isn't too far off-topic, but it's not likely many of us have gone--or will go--through the same exact thing. I feign surprise that AT&T could not help. :) It might be worth calling up an Apple store before making the trek, to see if they are able to help with that kind of AT&T account issue. Good luck!

I hit that button and nothing happens. Is there a check box I need to find before that "agree" button will work? I can do this through my computer, but it needs the emia number and some other sort of number. also, setting up the account or adding data through the at&t website is not accessible with any screen reader. I enter the imia number and the other number they ask for and hit enter, then I am thrown back to the email address and password fields. when putting the email and password in, the site doesn't accept it. the at&t customer service desk is not verry helpfull with the setup. It looks like they could reset the account for me on their end as they do everything else. Please note that I'm using voice over with the ipad and I don't know if the "agree button" is highlighted or anything like that. Double tapping on the button should work as it does on other applications, but it doesn't. I'm really fustrated and don't want to go back to the apple store, but I will if I need to. It's not easy to get around in there and verry crowded. If I am off topic here, please dirrect me somewhere else. Thanks.
