Re: [MacBook] ipad 3g data plan with at&t help

Call apple. They are much better at helping than at&t.

I enter the imia number and the other number they ask for and hit enter, then I am thrown back to the email address and password fields. when putting the email and password in, the site doesn't accept it. the at&t customer service desk is not verry helpfull with the setup. It looks like they could reset the account for me on their end as they do everything else. Please note that I'm using voice over with the ipad and I don't know if the "agree button" is highlighted or anything like that. Double tapping on the button should work as it does on other applications, but it doesn't. I'm really fustrated and don't want to go back to the apple store, but I will if I need to. It's not easy to get around in there and verry crowded. If I am off topic here, please dirrect me somewhere else. Thanks.

remember all that stuff as much as I've scrolled through the document.
hahaha. anyway, I've gotten a couple of suggestions from this group and
other groups, so will try again when I get paid again. thanks for all the
suggestions.

Sometimes those "Agree buttons" are not available until you scroll all
the way to the bottom of the terms.

[MacBook] Re: ipad 3g data plan with at&t help

Hi Mellisa,

I have the iPad2 with Verizon. And yes that agree button is quite small. I expand the window. Take two fingers place them on the screen and draw them apart. The agree button is finicky at best. I find you have to hold your finger on the agree button until it changes color. Then it should take the input data. The point is that agree button has a real small target to light up.

If all else fails go back to the Apple Store for help. They are great, even though they are busy, still great help there. And this forum is fantastic for information too. Better than the iPad group itself!

I have renewed my Verizon for the past three months. Each time it worked but you have to expand the screen.

Good luck and enjoy that iPad2!

Welcome, Melissa! This isn't too far off-topic, but it's not likely many of us have gone--or will go--through the same exact thing. I feign surprise that AT&T could not help. :) It might be worth calling up an Apple store before making the trek, to see if they are able to help with that kind of AT&T account issue. Good luck!
