Hi Carol,

Is there a nearby store you can go to that will let you hold and try out both?
There are negatives & positives to both.
Honestly too many to list, in regards to ebooks and compatibility issues.
If you already own a Mac, I'd lean towards to iPad. It may cost a lot more, but I am willing to bet the operating system is a lot more friendly.
(Android is okay)
