Re: [MacBook] New MBP
texasexpediter.....there is a lot of help available to Mac users. This group, the online manual...
http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/MacBook_Pro_13inch_Mid2010.pdf
and of course calling 1-800-my-apple.
Also you can google a question and get an answer.
As to streets and maps, you can use google maps or yahoo maps for a map and driving directions and distance.
Enjoy your Mac. I'm a recent convert myself. Karen

Subject: [MacBook] New MBP
I wound up getting the basic 13" MBP and really like it so far, at least as far as I've gotten with it. I've got to make the transition from my Windows computer and that's going to take some doing. There are a few things I want that I don't know if they're available.
Why does nobody make a Streets and Trips type package for the Mac? I want to be able to input two addresses and get directions between the two plus total distance. I really want ST but MS apparently is too stupid to realize they have another market in Macs. I'll probably go with Parallels at some point for that plus a few other things that are PC only.
Is there a really good and really concise how to Mac in quick simple steps?
